The Studio One label was founded by Clement S Dodd in Kingston Jamaica. CS Dodd is the largest producer of Reggae music and discovered most of the music’s top artists including Bob Marley. Mr. Dodd started his career as a sound system operator in the 1950’s and soon branched out to recording. He went on to release hundreds of albums and thousands of singles from his base on Brentford Road throughout his long career.
